Late last month, Blizzard announced that attendees at BlizzCon 2018 — and those that are watching from home with a Virtual Ticket — will be able to step into the old World of Warcraft with an exclusive demo of the Classic version of the game. Today, Blizzard explained what will be available in the World of Warcraft: Classic demo, and how players can expect to interact with the “vanilla” version of the world next month.
Only two zones will be available for players in the demo, which is meant to focus on outdoor questing. Horde players will find themselves in the Barrens, while Alliance players will get to play through Westfall. However, players won’t be able to access dungeons like the Deadmines or Wailing Caverns, and will only be able to duel other players if they want a chance at PvP.
