Earlier this week, we reported that NPCs in Red Dead Redemption 2 will offer players additional directions if the mini-map is turned off. While incredibly cool on paper, it seems like this won’t be specifically the case.

Alanah Pearce, who recently had the chance to play Red Dead Redemption 2, confirmed that NPCs are going to give players directions regardless of the mini-map status.
