NVIDIA pushed a new GeForce driver, version 416.16, to provide the ‘optimal experience’ with the Windows 10 October update and the concurrent public release of the DXR (DirectX Raytracing) API. This is yet more proof of the imminent debut of the first raytraced games, though we don’t know for sure yet whether Shadow of the Tomb Raider or Battlefield V will be the first one. We’ll certainly update you once that’s been finalized.
As usual with any GeForce driver released by NVIDIA, there are also a bunch of fixes and SLI/3D Vision profile updates. You can read those below, taken from the official release notes.
