Microsoft's Major Nelson has announced the free Games with Gold for October 2018. Xbox owners with subscriptions to Xbox Live Gold will be able to download four new games at staggered intervals between October 1 and 31. The games in question are the Xbox One titles Overcooked and Victor Vran, and the Xbox 360 games Stuntman: Ignition and Hitman: Blood Money.

Overcooked is a co-op cooking game you can play with up to four players. Orders come in, and your job is to cook the food and deliver it before a timer runs out. This becomes more difficult as the dishes become increasingly labor-intensive and the kitchen layouts start to go to outlandishly unexpected places. It's available the full month of October. Victor Vran is a loot-based action-RPG in the vein of Diablo III. It's available October 16-November 15.
