Since Destiny 2: Forsaken launched earlier this month, there has been something a bit ... off about some of the weapon drops. While players have been able to fill their collections with loads of new weapons, one weapon seems to be dropping more than usual. The new grenade launcher, Edge Transit, has been popping up more frequently than is wanted for players. While the player base has spent about a month making fun of this bizarre occurrence, the developer confirmed in last week’s This Week at Bungie that it is, indeed, an unintended bug.

Since shortly after the game’s launch on Sept. 4, players all over the Destiny subreddit and Twitter have been mocking the Edge Transit and its frequent appearance. The Edge Transit problem is so rampant in the game that you can find joke posts about it even when you’re looking for simple raid advice. One heroic player even photoshopped the entire Destiny 2 UI to appear as Edge Transits.
