New details on the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout mode have started emerging online this week, but not all details about the matter are going to make fans of the series happy.
In a recent video with Game Informer, Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar talked about the Blackout mode’s performance, saying that it can run at 60 FPS, but it’s hard to maintain this frame rate at all times. Vonderhaar further added that the mode won’t be locked below 60 FPS, so we should expect performance drops when the action gets hectic. Additionally, Vonderhaar didn’t specify platforms, so it’s highly probable that the PC version may not suffer from this issue.
