The next Fortnite patch is coming out soon, albeit not as early as we've come to expect each week. Epic Games has announced that update v5.30 will be released on Thursday, August 23. Additionally, the next week of challenges, Week 7, will be available starting a day later than usual; they'll come on Friday, August 24. Unfortunately, Epic did not share any information about what's new in the patch or what the new challenges will consist of.

[Update: We now have some idea of what to expect from the new patch. The in-game news feed has teased the addition of something called the Rift-to-Go. Whether that's the actual name or not, you can likely guess what it means--you'll be able to find and transport a Rift you can deploy, presumably wherever you want. The notification says, "Teleport above your current location and glide down." It isn't explicitly stated that this will be in the 5.30 update, but it seems like a safe bet.]
