Rage 2 is in the hands of Just Cause and Mad Max developer Avalanche Studios, who are delivering an action-heavy shooter that trades the original Rage’s earth tones for a cotton candy-colored post-apocalypse filled with super powers. > In the gameplay footage above, you’ll get a taste for Rage 2’s over-the-top violence, thanks to the game’s decapitating boomerang, the Wingstick, and Walker’s special abilities, like Shatter and Slam, that turn wasteland survivors into red mist on contact. Chaining kills and destruction using Walker’s abilities builds up the Overdrive meter, which makes him (and his guns) faster and more powerful.
