At QuakeCon today, id Software’s Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin revealed a new multiplayer mode coming to Doom Eternal called Invasions. That mode will let players invade other players’ single-player campaigns as a demon, letting them group us as hunting parties to give the Doom Slayer “a true taste of Hell.”
Doom Eternal will also include a more traditional competitive multiplayer mode, though id Software isn’t providing too many details on what it is just yet.
