Ubisoft has canceled the Nintendo Switch version of the snowboarding and skiing extreme sports game Steep. The cancellation came quietly, via a message to a fan on Twitter.

Explaining the cancellation, Ubisoft said (via Gamasutra), "We are wholly dedicated to supporting the live game, and made the decision to stop Steep development on the Nintendo Switch platform to focus on bringing new live content and challenges to Steep players instead."
