Microsoft's Xbox Live Gold subscribers get free games each month, but they don't all become available at the same time. Some games go free at the start of the month, while others become available at the halfway point. We're approaching the 15th of August, which means we're nearing your last chance to grab two free Xbox games.

The free games in question are the Xbox 360 game Dead Space 3 and the Xbox One game Death Squared. As always, the Xbox 360 titles in the Games With Gold program are backwards compatible and playable on Xbox One. Time is running out to secure your copy of both games, so hurry and grab them if you haven't yet.
