Season 5 of Fortnite may have only just begun, but a new batch of content is on the way for the popular battle royale game. Developer Epic has announced that the game's 5.0 content update is slated to drop very soon, arriving on all platforms--PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and iOS--on Tuesday, July 17.

Epic hasn't shared any further details about the 5.0 content update, so it remains to be seen what new items and other changes it will bring to Fortnite: Battle Royale. However, the developer did confirm that it will be rolling out early in the day, going live for all players at 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET / 1 PM BST, so it won't be much longer until we find out what Epic has in store this week.
