Battle Royale games are the most popular right now between Epic’s Fortnite, Bluehole’s PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Daybreak’s H1Z1 and many others due to launch soon, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Battle Royale inspired mode called Blackout.
In an interview with GameDaily, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick expressed his belief that the next big thing won’t be a Fortnite clone and it’s, therefore, pointless to chase the Battle Royale trend as many are currently doing.
