Update 2: The situation in Fortnite's sky continues to worsen, as yet another giant crack has appeared in the sky, for a total of three (so far). This is one of several developments in recent days as Season 5's launch approaches on Thursday, July 12. Most notably, objects that have disappeared through rifts in-game have begun to appear in the real world, while other items that don't seem to fit in Fortnite's game world have popped up. Epic, meanwhile, hasn't shared any official details about the new season, although it has finally shared a teaser image featuring a kitsune mask, though just what that means is anyone's guess.

Update: More rifts continue to appear in various areas across Fortnite. Most notably, a second enormous crack is now visible in the sky over the island, while another smaller rift also appears to be forming near Retail Row.
