With Season 5 of Fortnite: Battle Royale set to kick off in only a few days, developer Epic Games continues to drop cryptic teases about the new season ahead of its launch. The latest comes courtesy of the Fortnite Twitter account, which shared the first official teaser image for Season 5, and it may provide a clue as to what's in store for the game.

The image, which you can see below, depicts what appears to be a Japanese kitsune mask. Moreover, the left eye of the mask is overlaid with a rift, an obvious reference to the rifts that have begun popping up around Fortnite's island in the days since the Evil Lair's rocket took off and created a crack in the sky.
