In a recent Capcom Shareholders meeting, the Japanese publisher stated that Monster Hunter World “can’t be done” on the Nintendo Switch, implying that a port will not be coming. Monster Hunter games, however, will be coming to the console in the future, with games that will be specifically made for the Switch.
