The Coalition studio head Rod Fergusson revealed Gears of War 5 during Microsoft's E3 press conference. The trailer shown was unusually character-focused and combat-light—and while it's understood the game will be built from the ground up on PC, we didn't see much of it in motion on stage.
In conversation with Wired, Fergusson says Gears of War 5 targets 60 fps and 4K as standard on consoles, but can scale up to 120 fps on PC.
