The CEO of Take-Two Interactive, the publisher of the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2, has heavily refuted the claim that singleplayer experiences are dead.

With more and more publishers focusing on Games-as-a-Service and Battle Royale multiplayer experiences, some have claimed that singleplayer games no longer have a future. The success of recent titles such as Sony’s Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War clearly show that this isn’t the case, and during a recent interview with GamesBeat, Take-Two Interactive CEO Straus Zelnick had some words of his own on the matter.
