Ubisoft shared a stunning new cinematic trailer for Beyond Good and Evil 2 during its E3 2018 press conference. The video didn't provide much in the way of new details about the game's storyline, but it did feature a couple of familiar faces from the first Beyond Good and Evil, suggesting the game will have a much stronger connection to its predecessor than previously believed.

The trailer, which you can watch above, begins aboard a ship navigating the icy ring of a Saturn-like planet. We get a glimpse at the ship's sick bay, which is filled with crew members who've fallen sick and drunk from the cook's "miraculous space chili." The trailer then shifts its focus to the cook in question, who turns out to be Pey'j, the boar companion from the original Beyond Good and Evil.
