Epic Games’ plans for the upcoming year of Fortnite competitive play will all culminate in the 2019 Fortnite World Cup, the company announced today during its Fortnite Pro-Am tournament at E3 2018.

Epic said it will use its $100 million esports investment to help sponsor tournaments throughout the 2018-19 season of play. The events will include online tournaments, community-run competitions and official competitive events.
