Borderlands 3 was strongly hinted at by yesterday's Mask of Mayhem teaser trailer—with loads of secrets buried in the imagery for fans to uncover—and today we'll find out more about what Gearbox has been working on. The developer will be streaming from PAX East in Boston today at 11 am PT/6 pm GMT. While the directions on Gearbox's social channels points towards the official Borderlands website, the Twitch embed above mentions the PAX East 2019 Main Theater event, so this'll work too.

The last Borderlands game was 2014's Pre-Sequel, which feels like a lifetime ago, with development assisted by Gearbox, as 2K Australia took the lead on the game. A new entry is long overdue—but neither 2K nor Gearbox is saying exactly what they're teasing, here. Who knows, maybe they're porting Borderlands 2 to the Atari Jaguar? Although, probably not.
