A Resident Evil TV series may be in the works at Netflix, according to a report published yesterday by Deadline. This Resident Evil TV series, apparently still in the early stages, will be produced by the same company that was behind the movies, German studio Constantin Film. Interestingly, this would be in addition to the rebooted movie series, which would see Johannes Roberts writing and directing the feature film.

As for the TV series, the showrunner is still to be decided. The rumor also mentions that the goal would be to explore what’s really going on at Umbrella Corporation as well as the consequences of the T-virus on the existing world order.
