Chuck E. Cheese’s slogan might be “Where a kid can be a kid,” but it might also be called “Where that kid’s parents will probably get into a brawl, ruining everyone’s nights, including the cops who have to come out and break up a youngster’s birthday party.”

• Oct. 2009: Police in one PA town respond to three fights in a single day at one Chuck E. Cheese’s location.

• July 2013: 20 people were involved in a fight at a Wisconsin Chuck E. Cheese’s because one child took too long to exchange tickets.

• Jan. 2014: As many as 30 adults get involved in a Chuck E. Cheese’s tussle in Florida. Pepper spray is involved.

• April 2014: A police officer in upstate New York is punched in the face during a fracas at a Chuck E. Cheese’s.

• March 2016: Customers at a Pittsburgh Chuck E. Cheese’s call police to break up a 50-person melee.

• Dec. 2016: Five adult customers at the Chuck E. Cheese’s in Everett, MA are arrested after intoxicated adult guests attack police officers. The cops call state troopers and neighboring police departments for help.

• Feb. 2017: Cops return to the Everett, MA location less than two months later when another brawl sends a child and a pregnant woman to the hospital.

Once again, a Chuck E. Cheese eatery has been the site of a fight that got so out of hand the police had to be called.
