Count Nvidia among the companies that is playing it better safe than sorry about the potential for coronavirus spreading at a conference of thousands of attendees.

Nvidia said Monday that it will not hold its GTC 2020 conference that had been scheduled for March 22-26 at the San Jose Convention Center because of “the growing concern over the coronavirus.” As many at 10,000 attendees were expected to attend the event that centered around semiconductors, graphic chips and artificial intelligence technologies.
