A storm is expected to bring widespread rain to the Bay Area sometime Wednesday afternoon or evening, but the exact timing remains a question.

Meteorologists with the National Weather Service in Monterey agree the storm will deliver about one-half to three-quarters of an inch of rain across the Bay Area. But computer models used by meteorologists are not in agreement as to when the storm will arrive.
