The chief executive of Optus, Kelly Bayer Rosmarin, has announced her resignation in the wake of a 14-hour network outage that cut off 10 million Australians from internet access earlier this month.
Michael Venter, current Optus CFO, will assume Bayer Rosmarin’s responsibilities until a new CEO is found, according to a statement by the telco’s parent company Singtel.
