Amazon Web Services (AWS) has claimed that Donald Trump staged a series of “public and behind-the-scenes attacks” on the company in an attempt to undermine its bid for a federal cloud computing contract worth $10bn (£7.6bn).
AWS claimed last month that it lost the tender to Microsoft due to “political influence”, but the latest remarks – made in a filing in the US Court of Federal Claims – are the first in which the company has explicitly named Trump.
