As is always the case, flagship smartphone manufacturers are racing to push the boundaries of what a camera lens can achieve on a smartphone. Depth mapping and neural computation have expanded the boundaries of what can be achieved from the light gathered from a camera lens. As Huawei’s excellent P30 Pro tumbles, it’s time for Samsung to remind everyone that it’s still the largest smartphone manufacturer in the world in terms of shipments. On that note, we’ve got a new, alleged leak today. Take a look below for more details.
We’ve got a render of a camera sensor setup today that might make it on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 later this year. There are three lenses present, and the render was spotted on the Chinese social network Weibo by Ice_Universe. The tipster claimed earlier this month that Samsung intends to change the orientation of the Galaxy Note 10’s rear camera sensors to horizontal in order to differentiate the phablet(s) from this year’s Galaxy S10 and last year’s Note 9.
