Hawthorne, California-based astronautic launch services provider Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) successfully launched the United States Air Force's (USAF) third global positioning satellite (GPS III) beyond earth orbit from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida today.
