NEWARK — The tech sector has unleashed a fresh round of layoffs that will eliminate well over 100 more jobs in the Bay Area after Logitech and Salesforce filed new disclosures for staffing reductions in the region.

All told, an estimated 138 jobs are being eliminated in the Bay Area, according to information in the most recent official filings with the state Employment Development Department (EDD).
