The late-season storm that moved across Northern California on Sunday didn’t do anything significant to change the year’s low rainfall totals. But it did reduce fire danger for a while. It cleared some of the grit and pollen from the air. And it gave a lot of people a free car wash.

The forecast now calls for dry, sunny weather over the next 10 days, with high temperatures mostly in the 70s and overnight lows in the 40s and 50s, across the Bay Area and Northern California.
