The Caldor Fire on Saturday jumped Highway 50, the main route from the Sacramento area to South Lake Tahoe. Caltrains had closed a nearly 50-mile stretch of the highway on Friday.

The western closure is at Pollock Pines and the eastern closure is at Meyers.
