SAN JOSE — A man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was run over by a driver who police suspect intentionally hit him during a domestic-violence conflict.

Officers were called at 12:58 a.m. Thursday to Covewood Court in the Evergreen neighborhood of East San Jose for a report of a man being hit by a car, police said. The man was taken to a local hospital soon after.
