GILROY – A 48-year-old man was shot to death early Tuesday in Gilroy, police said.

Officers were called to the intersection of Railroad and Martin streets shortly after midnight for a report of a shooting, the Gilroy Police Department said in a news release. They arrived to find an unresponsive man in the roadway suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
