At least one person died and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving a big rig on Highway 152 near Gilroy Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The deadly crash was reported at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday southeast of Gilroy near Bloomfield Avenue, according to an officer with the highway patrol.
