Before temperatures reach the 90s across most of the South Bay this weekend, dry thunderstorms may roll through the region, according to the National Weather Service.

An increase in “monsoonal moisture” is expected to bring a chance of dry thunderstorms between 11 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. Friday, according to the weather service.
