After California made headlines this week when state officials forced Republican party officials to remove unauthorized ballot drop boxes, an obvious question arose for Bay Area voters: Where can we safely drop off our ballots if we don’t trust the mail?

There are hundreds of Official Ballot Drop Boxes scattered around the Bay Area at libraries, community centers and City Halls. Here’s a list by city. Check with your local registrars office for more information on where you can drop off you ballot before the polls officially close at 8 p.m. on Nov. 3.
