An advanced breed of information stealer called Baldr is being peddled on cybercrime forums. It appears that it is in the running for the long haul as it relies on short development cycles to iron out the wrinkles and get new capabilities.

Baldr is sold for $150. It does not have persistence and it is built to exfiltrate sensitive data from key locations on the infected computer. Its targets include browser profiles, cryptocurrency wallets, records from VPN clients, FTP programs, text documents, and Telegram sessions.
