World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth’s lore has been heating up over the past week, with Horde players going on a rollercoaster of Warchief-related emotions. Today, Blizzard announced that the collector’s edition novella — which contains the stories “Elegy” by Christie Golden and “A Good War” by Robert Brooks — are now available for all to read online.

Each story focuses on a specific faction: “Elegy” for the Alliance and “A Good War” for the Horde. The stories both focus on the burning of Teldrassil, with each side telling their own version. While neither story will move the plot forward, each adds additional information about how characters react. Players who enjoyed watching Saurfang yell at Sylvanas in the Old Soldier cinematic should certainly give “A Good War” a look.
